Developer and publisher Alliance Arts has announced that its upcoming title, Drunken Goddess Reflux, has crossed 200,000 Steam Wishlists. The milestone was shared through the game’s official X account, which is presented as being run by the game’s central character, a demon of alcohol named Femme Soule.

Drunken Goddess Reflux is set in a place called Pandemonium Bar, located in Hell. Players go up against Femme Soule in a high-stakes drinking game, where the first one to vomit their soul out loses and ends up owing a debt to the winner.
The core gameplay has players choosing from a spread of drinks that all look alike but carry different alcohol levels. After the player picks, Femme takes from what is left. The goal is to avoid drinking too much, but the game layers in additional mechanics that keep things from being straightforward. Players can stab their own hand with an ice pick to lower their intoxication, or add more alcoholic drinks into the mix, among other options. Both the player and Femme are working against each other while dealing with rising intoxication levels throughout the match.

Beyond the wishlist news, the game’s X account has been putting out extra content in Femme’s voice, including teasing quotes and design references of the character. Alliance Arts has also acknowledged fan-made content, with the design sheets shared partly as a resource for things like doujins and other fan creations.
More updates are expected from Alliance Arts as the game gets closer to its release.
