Singapore’s tabletop gaming community will gather once again this August as TableCon Quest (TCQ) 2026 returns for its third edition, bringing board games, card games, miniatures and role-playing games under one roof at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The two-day event, organized by Eliphant and Genesis Frontier, runs from August 1 to 2, 2026, across Halls 404 to 406. The convention has grown steadily since its start, positioning itself as one of the country’s main gatherings for tabletop hobbyists, from casual players to competitive tournament regulars.
This year’s event comes as tabletop gaming continues to draw interest well beyond its traditional audience. Industry surveys suggest a large share of Gen Z now actively plays board and tabletop games, with many turning to the hobby as a way to spend time away from screens and connect with others in person.
TCQ 2026 will feature a range of activity zones across the show floor. These include a Tournament Zone for competitive play across various games, an Open Play Area for casual walk-in sessions, and dedicated RPG and game demo sessions, including Dungeons & Dragons, available both through pre-booking and walk-in slots. The Play-and-Win zone will let attendees try games donated by publishers, with a chance to win copies through an end-of-convention lottery. Independent artists will also be on hand at Creators Alley, selling commissions, prints and original work, alongside exhibitor booths offering games, figurines, painting supplies and collectibles. Family-friendly programming will include cat miniature-painting sessions and other activities aimed at beginners, kids and veteran players alike.
One of the show’s headline draws is the return of the Bushiroad Card Game Festival, following a successful first appearance last year. The festival will feature demos, tournaments and stage events for titles including Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiß Schwarz, Shadowverse: Evolve and hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME, along with the debut of the new Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME, based on the popular video game. This year’s festival holds added significance as it marks the 18th anniversary of Weiß Schwarz and the 15th anniversary of Cardfight!! Vanguard. To mark the occasion, Bushiroad is expanding the festival to three countries this year, with Singapore joined by editions in Tokyo and, for the first time, South Korea.
Regional trading card game Grand Archive will also have a bigger presence this year, adding a dedicated tournament for competitive players on top of its usual booth and showcase.
The convention’s Indie Wavemakers zone, dedicated to independent tabletop creators, has expanded significantly for 2026. It will feature a wider selection of indie developers and publishers from the region, showcasing original titles ranging from card-drafting and worker-placement games to narrative-driven and party games.
Organisers say the event is designed to welcome visitors of all ages and experience levels. Beginners can walk in and try a demo without any prior knowledge, while family-friendly activities make it accessible for groups looking for an affordable weekend outing. At the same time, more experienced players will have plenty to look forward to, including competitive tournaments, a full RPG programme and the Bushiroad Card Game Festival.
General admission tickets for TableCon Quest 2026 are currently on sale through their official website. Children under 12 can enter for free, while students receive a 50 percent discount on ticket prices. With its expanded lineup of tournaments, exhibitors and community programming, TableCon Quest 2026 is set to give Singapore’s tabletop gaming scene another full weekend of play come this August.
