Hero Games and developer PAN STUDIO have announced that the free-to-play fantasy adventure RPG Duet Night Abyss will launch worldwide on October 28, 2025. The game will be available for PC via its own launcher and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android. Pre-registration is already live on all platforms.

A Dark Fantasy Adventure

Duet Night Abyss is a high-freedom fantasy RPG that combines “multiple weapon loadouts x 3D combat” with an emotionally charged story told from dual perspectives. The tale follows two protagonists known as “Demons,” each trapped on opposite shores of fate.

One struggles to survive exile in the unforgiving North Border, while the other seeks escape from a web of conspiracies. Though separated, destiny gradually draws them toward a fated reunion.

All Characters and Weapons Free to Unlock

Unlike many free-to-play RPGs, Duet Night Abyss allows players to unlock all characters and weapons entirely for free. By farming fragments and forging materials, players can build their ideal lineup at their own pace. This system encourages experimentation and strategy, whether you want to focus on a single squad or diversify into different tactical playstyles.

Freedom in Combat and Style

Players can seamlessly switch between melee and ranged weapons to create unique combat combinations. Choices include whipblades, crossbows, sniper rifles, grenade launchers, and even high-tech hover guns. Combat embraces hack-and-slash intensity, with aerial maneuvers, ground takedowns, and missions involving tracking, reconnaissance, and rescues.
