SEGA has officially launched the early access for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance Digital Deluxe Edition owners, marking the return of one of gaming’s most iconic ninjas. Its currently available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The highly anticipated 2D action platformer is already earning widespread acclaim ahead of its full release on August 29.

Alongside the early access launch, SEGA released the official Launch Trailer, showcasing Joe Musashi’s intense quest for vengeance. Fans eager to get a taste of the action can also try out the free demo, which includes a tutorial stage set in Oboro Village, the opening chapter of Musashi’s journey.

A Legendary Ninja’s Return

SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance revives SEGA’s legendary franchise with a modern hand-drawn aesthetic and fast-paced combat. Players step into the shoes of Joe Musashi after his village is destroyed and his clan turned into stone, embarking on a personal vendetta against a mysterious and overwhelming evil.

The game emphasises fluid combos, precise movement, and stylish executions, ensuring that every stage is as much about mastery as survival. From platforming challenges to enemy gauntlets, Musashi’s return promises both nostalgia and fresh intensity for old fans and newcomers alike.

Pre-Order Bonuses & Details

Players who pre-order before August 29, will receive a 10% discount along with two bonus items. Currently, PlayStation Store only offers the discount exclusively to PlayStation Plus members.

As for the Nintendo Switch Version of the game, its launch will be 29 August as well although the early access is not available on that platform.
