Arc System Works and Taito have announced that Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons will release worldwide on November 27, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Console version will also be available at retail. As an added bonus, the game will include a bundled port of the 1994 arcade classic Bubble Symphony.
This new entry brings the beloved bubble-blowing dragon Bub back in an all-new adventure that mixes classic platforming with dungeon-crawling twists. Players can look forward to silly,sweet-themed dungeons that change each time you enter, creating a fresh experience with every run.
A Modern Take on a Classic Series

In Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons, Bub journeys into ever-changing dungeons filled with enemies, traps and treasures. Using his signature bubble-blowing skills, Bub can trap enemies, turn bubbles into platform, and reach hidden items. The game focuses on replayability, with dungeons that structure themselves every time, ensuring no two runs feel the same.
Players can collect “ingredients” throughout their journey, which are used to upgrade Bub’s abilities or unlock new skills. The more you explore and clear dungeons, the stronger Bub becomes, encouraging players to push their limits and see how far they can go.
Sweet and Silly World

The game is set in a candy-coated universe filled with colourful dungeons, castles, and sweets-inspired enemies. Bub’s adventure balances cute charm with fast-paced bubble action, appealing to both series veterans and newcomers.
Bundled with Bubble Symphony

In addition to the new title, Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons will include Bubble Symphony, the 1994 arcade sequel to the original Bubble Bobble, later adapted for home consoles in 1997. This classic entry features four playable character, two-player cooperative play, and stages inspired by other TAITO titles, making it a nostalgic treat for fans.
