The full development and operations team stated their commitment to continuing to meet player expectations going forward. The development team has also noted that more regions could be added down the line based on demand.

Alongside the regional rollout, two new playable characters are joining the game: Rikku from Final Fantasy X and Clive from Final Fantasy XVI. Their addition completes a milestone for the roster, as the game now has one representative character from each of the 16 mainline Final Fantasy titles. Each of the 16 characters comes with their own distinct abilities and playstyle, giving players a wide variety of options in battle.
To celebrate the update, a number of in-game events and campaigns are now running. Players can grab up to 99 free ability draws, take part in special missions, and collect rewards through special login bonuses. For players in the newly supported regions, the game is available to access once the maintenance window has wrapped up.
