Square Enix has announced that the entire mainline Kingdom Hearts series is coming to current-gen platforms, packaged together as Kingdom Hearts Collection [I ~ III]. The collection launches on October 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2.
The bundle includes three previously released compilations: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind. Each of the three titles will also be sold separately for those who only want specific entries.
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5, 2.8 and III + Re Mind (DLC) all arrive on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on Windows on October 8, 2026.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX is the biggest package of the three, containing four full games: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. It also includes remastered HD cinematics for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, which are story-only experiences rather than playable games. This compilation will also receive a native release on Switch alongside the collection launch, replacing the existing cloud version. This version also features texture updates to its graphics.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue covers the lead-up to the series finale and includes Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, the short playable episode Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, a high-definition movie that digs further back into the series timeline.

Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind rounds out the collection with the conclusion to the Dark Seeker Saga, along with its Re Mind DLC, which adds extra story content, additional boss fights, gameplay modifiers, and photo galleries. Players who purchase Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind separately or as part of the full collection bundle will receive a platform-exclusive Keyblade called “Dead of Night.”
A demo of Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind is already available on Switch 2 through the Nintendo eShop.
