Kadokawa Corporation has announced a new game based on the popular anime and light novel series KONOSUBA. Titled KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity to This Beloved Town!, the game is described as a free-to-play trouble-life RPG and is set to launch on PC, iOS, and Android in 2026 in Japan.
Pre-registration for the game is open now and can be done through the App Store and Google Play. The announcement was made alongside news that the fourth season of the KONOSUBA anime will air in 2027, giving fans two pieces of news to look forward to at once.
According to its official store pages, the game tells an original story set in the KONOSUBA world. It is supervised by Natsume Akatsuki, the original author of the series, and made in cooperation with Kurone Mishima, the original illustrator. The game is being pitched to fans who enjoy the series’ mix of comedy and everyday mishaps, as well as those who want to see the characters brought to life in 3D during battles.
The game will feature the returning cast from the anime. Jun Fukushima will voice Kazuma, Sora Amamiya will voice Aqua, Rie Takahashi will voice Megumin, and Ai Kayano will voice Darkness, with more cast members expected to be announced later. With both a new game and a new anime season on the way, KONOSUBA fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming years. More details on the game, including a specific release date, are expected to be shared as launch approaches.
