The project, potentially named Genshin Impact: Thousand Stars Domain or Genshin: Thousand Planets, would represent another ambitious move from the developer known for diversifying its gaming portfolio.

The information comes from sources within the Genshin Impact community, including hxg_diluc and Seele Leaks. This development aligns with HoYoverse’s established pattern of experimenting with different genres, as seen in their flagship events and minigames within Genshin Impact itself.

Some confusion exists regarding whether this is the same project previously rumored under the working title Astaweave Haven, or if it represents a separate development effort entirely. Either way, the timeline suggests this new game would be set within the Genshin Impact universe, potentially showcasing characters who haven’t received significant spotlight in the main game, including NPCs and lore figures like Enjou, Jeht, and Xbalanque.
