The final season of Squid Game is coming, and a new teaser trailer shows what’s to come in Netflix’s top show. It continues to be the most popular series on the platform, with Season 2 released prior in December 2024 and breaking viewership records, including the most views in its first week. Season 2 was the third most-watched season on Netflix.

Now in Season 3, Gi-hun (Player 456) returns to the deadly games, aiming to end them for good. He deals with the loss of his friend Jung-bae (Player 390) and faces new dangers, including the Front Man, who secretly joined their fight disguised as Player 001.

The new teaser trailer features pink guards carrying a black box tied with a pink ribbon, which represent the coffins for fallen players, to the games’ resting area. Players, both curious and scared, open the box to find Gi-hun inside, who awakens, leading into a new game. A large gumball machine releases red and blue balls that will impact the next challenge. Familiar characters return, including The Front Man and several players. The trailer ends with the mysterious sound of a baby’s cries, building suspense.
