Gaming giant Konami has given popular Japanese content creator Hajime Syacho a special wedding gift: a one-of-a-kind Yu-Gi-Oh! card celebrating his recent marriage.
The custom card is a redesigned version of the “Ritual Sanctuary” spell card, personalized specifically for Syacho and his wife. While larger than standard playing cards and not legal for tournament use, the framed card holds significant personal meaning for the creator.

The card includes several personal touches. The card number “HJMN-JP001” references Syacho’s name, while the passcode on the bottom-left displays August 30, 2025—the date he publicly announced his marriage. The artwork mirrors a photo Syacho and his wife took for their marriage announcement, which featured a bouquet covering the bride’s face. Instead of the original card’s unknown characters, this version shows Raye and Roze, two characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles anime and card game.
Syacho announced his marriage during the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 in Paris, France, which took place from August 30 to 31. The timing and location highlighted his strong connection to the franchise.
The creator has been deeply involved with Yu-Gi-Oh! beyond just being a fan. He provided the Japanese voice for the Goha President and Goha Drone/Doll characters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens anime and frequently participates in Konami’s marketing efforts for the franchise.
Given Syacho’s dedication to Yu-Gi-Oh! and trading card games in general, receiving a unique wedding card designed by Konami just for him appears to be a meaningful recognition of his contributions to the franchise’s community.
