The Saga of Tanya the Evil: Battle of Magicians mobile game will be launching 10 December! As always, at present, it is a Japan only release. Pre-registrations remain open until the launch of the game, with the official website showing that it hit its 100,000 milestone. The full pre-reg rewards are as follows:

• 50,000 players: Coins for 3 times gacha
• 100,000 players: Coins for 5 times gacha
• 150,000 players: Tanya (Grenadier)
• 200,000 players: SS Grenade (C Tanya)
• 250,000 players: Coins for 7 times gacha
• 300,000 players: 11 times gacha tickets which guarantees 1 SS weapon

Gameplay wise, the Saga of Tanya the Evil: Battle of Magicians looks to take a few leaves from SINoALICE, with characters having classes and weapons they can utilize in battle. Five will be to a team, with characters from the series as well as game-original characters to partake in a new story crafted for the game. Characters with different weapons will have differing advantages depending on their positions.

Besides the whole gameplay and gacha trappings, the official Twitter has the usual giveaway campaign for signed shikishi for Japanese residents to win. The account has also been previewing some of the weapons you can obtain in the game.

For the unfamiliar, Saga of Tanya the Evil features the titular Tanya – actually a reincarnated salaryman – essentially throwing down with God. Reborn into a war-torn world, this salaryman will scheme to stay out of battle lest his soul gets sent to hell. What’s a god to a non-believer, the series.
