SEGA has announced that the “Minecraft Pack” DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will launch on October 8, bringing the charm of blocky creativity to Sonic’s fast-paced world. This crossover continues SEGA’s tradition of playful collaborations, blending two beloved gaming universes into one exciting update.

A New Blocky Adventure on the Track

In the “Minecraft Pack,” racers will speed through tracks inspired by Mojang’s pixel-perfect universe. From grassy plains to lava-filled caves, each new course transforms CrossWorlds’ smooth circuits into a blocky battleground filled with nostalgia and surprises.

Players can race in Minecraft-themed vehicles, unlock custom character skins, and enjoy special effects like redstone trails and explosive hazards. These details not only refresh the gameplay but also allow players to express their creativity in uniquely Minecraft style. Moreover, each race feels visually distinct, offering new ways to experience the thrill of Sonic’s world.

Join the Minecraft Festival

To celebrate the launch, SEGA will host an in-game Minecraft Festival from October 9 at 5:00 p.m. PT / October 10 at 8:00 a.m. MYT until October 11 at 4:59 p.m. PT / October 12 at 7:59 a.m. MYT.

Additionally, participants can earn festival-exclusive cosmetics and explore special event tracks that capture the crossover’s creative energy. The festival gives everyone a chance to experience the atmosphere, experiment with new mechanics, and race alongside the community in a shared celebration of Sonic’s latest adventure.
