One of the key parts of Pokemon Legends: Arceus is evolving pokemon and completing the Pokedex, not to mention surviving all the wild pokemon attacks, and to do that, you’re going to need to level up your pokemon with EXP.
And here is an easy way to quickly farm EXP in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Fight Chansey and Blissey
Chansey and its evolution Blissey are well known for their high HP and subsequent high EXP upon defeating them, and this stays the same in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Basically, the best way to farm EXP in Pokemon Legends is to fight Chansey and Blissey.
That might be a bit more difficult than it seems though. Both Pokemon have incredibly high HP, and there is also a chance that they might run away if they’re hit. They are however weak to physical attacks. This means that in order to farm EXP from them efficiently, you need to be able to knock them out in one or two hits and it is easiest to do so with a strong physical attacker.
As both pokemon are normal types, your best bet on taking them out is to use a fighting type pokemon, which normal types are weak to, and they tend to be strong physical attackers in general. Machamp, Decidueye, or Lucario are all good contenders for this task.
Where to find Chansey and Blissey
Go to the Alabaster Icelands and quick travel to the Ice Peak Arena to start. The area on the Map above marked with the Alpha sign has a guaranteed Blissey Spawn as well as Potential Chansey Spawn, but also a Level 85 Alpha Garchomp, you might want to bring a strong ice or fairy type pokemon for that last one, but beating it will also net you a lot of exp.
If you like to get a guaranteed first hit on the wild pokemon, you need to hit them from the back when they’re unaware. You can do this using the ridable Braviary. Fly close to the pokemon and carefully drop down when you are not too far from the ground. If you do this right, you should be able to hit the pokemon while they’re unaware.
Alternatively, you could also just capture the Chansey and Blissey while their backs are turned and they’re unaware of your presence. This will however incur a cost of ultra balls, and also could cause them to despawn as they will run away if you fail to catch them. This might be worth doing if you running a team of six low-level pokemon and aren’t confident that they can take on the alpha Blissey.
