It’s been a big week for Tekken 8, with Bandai Namco Entertainment announcing the return of multiple fan favorite characters as well as the game’s second new character.
In the first trailer, Tekken 8 announces the return of five familiar faces: Devil Jin, Alisa, Zafina, Panda as well as Lee Chaolan.
Devil Jin
Devil Jin returns as the “Blank Wings of Ruin,” Jin’s demonic side coming from the devil gene in his blood and the embodiment of him living with his sins. Devil Jin’s appearance matches his name, and his fighting skills are beyond human capabilities.
Lee Chaolan
Lee Chaolan fights with Martial Arts, but his true power comes from the Violet Suit, a one-of-a-kind battle suit that uses sophisticated technology and unleashes attacks that reflect his “Silver haired-Demon” persona.
Alisa Bosconovitch
Alisa Bosconovitch is the “Destroying Automaton” developed by the brilliant scientist Dr. Bosconovitch. Alisa’s fighting skills come from her high-mobility flight suit and her arsenal of technological weaponry.
Zafina
The “Mystic Stargazer” Zafina brings back her unique fight style rooted in her warrior heritage and her spiritual abilities as a mystical astrologist. Her methods are as old as her lineage, using Ancient Assassination Arts in her attacks.
Panda
Panda’s nickname as the “Pretty Protector” comes from her double duty as both Ling Xiaoyu’s pet and bodyguard. She uses Heihachi-Style Advanced Kuma Shin Ken as her fighting style.
Aside from the fan favorites, Paris Game Week also saw the reveal of one more fighter- Victor Chevalier, the game’s first French character.
While Tekken may typically be associated with hand-to-paw combat, Victor dials it up to 11 with guns, knives and a cybernetic sword- armed with a variety of mixup tools thanks to his teleports.
His addition marks fighter number 31 of the game’s 32 fighter roster, with the final fighter set for the 12th of November.
