Saroasis Studios has announced that Fate Trigger will launch on PlayStation consoles, marking a significant expansion for the anime-styled battle royale shooter. The news was revealed during Sony’s State of Play presentation, with the game scheduled for Early Access on Steam in Q1 2026. The studio released a new gameplay trailer showing upcoming content for both PC and console versions. Two new heroes will join the existing roster of ten characters when Early Access begins.
The tactical shooter has gained attention among players during its Closed Beta phase, combining battle royale gameplay with anime art direction. The game centers on hero-based combat, where each character brings different abilities to matches that blend shooting mechanics with strategic elements.

A new map called Blightfront will also be available. The 2km x 2km arena features walls dividing it into connected zones with varied cover options. The map includes thirteen urban areas with taller structures and larger interior spaces designed for close-quarters combat.
Saroasis Studios has adapted the game’s controls and interface specifically for PlayStation. The console version includes support for adaptive triggers, vibration feedback, and gyro aiming. Each hero has customizable control settings, and the menus have been adjusted for console navigation.

Players can choose between console-only servers or opt into cross-platform play with PC users. Account progress, including character unlocks, cosmetics, and friends lists, carries over between platforms.
The game’s move from its independent PC release to PlayStation represents the studio’s push to reach a broader player base. Saroasis Studios stated that feedback from beta participants on PC influenced the console version’s development.
