Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for May 2026, giving subscribers three new titles to claim next month. The lineup includes EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols.
All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Deluxe members starting May 5, 2026.
This month’s selection offers a strong mix of sports, action role-playing, and side-scrolling combat experiences across PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
EA Sports FC 26 | PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4

Leading the May lineup is EA Sports FC 26, available for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The latest football title from Electronic Arts continues the publisher’s modern football franchise with updated gameplay systems based on player feedback. According to Sony, players can choose between Authentic Gameplay and Competitive Gameplay presets depending on whether they prefer realism or faster competitive action.
The game also includes expanded Football Ultimate Team features, including tournaments, live events, and refreshed Rivals and Champs modes.
As expected, authenticity remains a major selling point. EA Sports FC 26 features over 20,000 players, 750 clubs and national teams, 120 stadiums, and 35 leagues.
PlayStation Plus members will also receive a special EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack, available during the game’s Monthly Games availability period.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers | PlayStation 5

The second title in the May lineup is Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, available exclusively on PlayStation 5.
This highly anticipated Soulslike action RPG places players in the role of pirate warrior Wuchang, who awakens during the final years of China’s Ming Dynasty with no memory of her past.
The land of Shu has descended into chaos, with war between factions and a supernatural plague known as Feathering, which mutates humans into terrifying monsters.
Players will explore an interconnected world, battle powerful enemies, master multiple fighting styles, and discover hidden weapons and ancient firearms. The game also allows players to harness the power of Feathering itself while uncovering the mystery behind Wuchang’s lost memories.
For players who enjoy challenging action RPGs inspired by games like Sekiro and Dark Souls, this could be one of the standout additions of the month.
Nine Sols | PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4

Rounding out the lineup is Nine Sols, available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Developed with a hand-drawn art style, Nine Sols is a 2D action-platformer featuring fast-paced deflection-based combat inspired by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Players take control of a vengeful hero on a mission to defeat the 9 Sols, ancient rulers who control a ruined land once governed by a mysterious alien civilization.
The game has earned praise for combining stylish visuals, precise combat mechanics, and deep world-building, making it one of the most interesting indie action titles in recent years.
Last Chance to Claim April 2026 PlayStation Plus Games

Subscribers still have until May 4, 2026 to add April’s Monthly Games to their library. Those titles include:
Lords of the Fallen
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered
Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream
After that date, they will be replaced by the May 2026 lineup.
Strong Variety for PlayStation Plus Members
The PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for May 2026 deliver excellent variety. Whether players want football simulation in EA Sports FC 26, punishing action RPG combat in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, or stylish side-scrolling battles in Nine Sols, there is something for nearly every type of player this month.
Subscribers can begin claiming all three titles starting May 5, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
