KONAMI has announced that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will launch on October 15, 2026. Pre-orders are now open for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with early purchase and pre-order bonuses also revealed today alongside the contents of the Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Midnight Edition.
A new trailer was shown during the Xbox Games Showcase, giving players a closer look at new gameplay, additional environments and bosses, and original artwork by manga artist and illustrator Katsuya Terada. The trailer features Rose Belmont as she fights through the catacombs of Paris and the dark halls of Dracula’s castle, showcasing the game’s exploration-driven combat and gothic setting.
Players who pre-order or purchase the game early will receive the Alucard Style Costume as a bonus. Those who opt for the Midnight Edition will get the main game, a Digital Sound and Art Gallery featuring 71 in-game tracks, and three bonus in-game items: the Trevor Style Costume, the Sypha Style Costume, and a bonus item called Family’s Grace.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is a 2D action game with an exploration focus, developed jointly by KONAMI and Evil Empire, with advisory support from indie studio Motion Twin. The story is set 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Players take on the role of Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she battles monsters through the streets of Paris and Dracula’s castle using a range of weapons and skills, including the iconic whip known as the Vampire Killer.

For the Nintendo Switch version of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, KONAMI confirmed it is coming but noted that its release date and pre-order start date will be announced at a later time.
