You can check our overview of the first run here for details on the older mechanisms. Veneficus Points will be used to build the Mechanici for the stages. Veneficus Points can also be used to draw Wondrous Sticks to obtain buffs. You will be unable to directly attack enemies, but you can use Elemental Skills to apply elemental effects. The event can be done single player or two player co-op.
New to this run are the Binding and Banishment Mechanici. The Wondrous Sticks are also a change, where you can draw up to three for free per stage. To draw more, you will need to spend Veneficus Points. To apply the buffs from these Wondrous Sticks also requires Veneficus Points, with varying rarities and strengths accordingly. Some Wondrous Sticks may not be drawn in certain stages.
