PokémonXP attendees are stepping into something built just for them this week: a Pokémon Center store found nowhere else.

Walk up to the Pokémon Center store at PokémonXP and the first thing that greets you is a design built to resemble the Golden Gate Bridge, one of San Francisco’s most recognizable landmarks. It sets the tone for what’s inside, a store built specifically for this event and only open to attendees who registered for PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships. Those who signed up were told they would get an invitation in early August 2026 to reserve a shopping slot.

Once inside, shoppers can expect three separate merchandise lines. One is built around PokémonXP, another centers on the 2026 World Championships, and a third leans into the host city, blending San Francisco landmarks with familiar Pokémon designs. Some PokémonXP apparel glows in the dark. Across the lines, expect an orange-red and blue color scheme running throughout, with orange-red standing in for daytime and blue for nighttime. Many items come in both versions, so shoppers can pick the theme they like best. The store will be open across five days, starting Wednesday, August 26.

Spend at least $50 at the Pokémon Center online store and enter a promo code, and shoppers can expect a 2026 Worlds coin as a gift with purchase. One side features a female Pikachu in a space jacket for PokémonXP, the other a male Pikachu in a cape and crown for 2026 Worlds. More details on this promotion are expected soon. Also worth expecting is a plush lineup featuring Pikachu, Charizard, and Kirlia, exclusive to the on-site store and not sold anywhere else.

Beyond the main store, a Pokémon Center Outpost along Rayquaza Road offers more merchandise, open Friday to Sunday. Pin trading runs at two spots: the Moscone Center and the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. Attendees should also expect to hear about the Pokémon and Polaroid camera collaboration, currently open for preorder through Pokemon.com and Polaroid’s site, with wider retail availability expected after launch.

Expect some detailed, well-made merchandise, tight browsing time given how much is packed into the space, and price tags that might test any Pokémon fan’s budget. Between the exclusive plush, the coin giveaway, and the pin trading and Outpost stops scattered around the event, there’s plenty for PokémonXP attendees to plan around before they even step inside.
