Nintendo has revealed a new special edition console tied to a major franchise milestone. The company announced the Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition, set to launch on October 29. The console will come with textured foil cover art packaging, though this special packaging will only be available while supplies last.

This includes a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller in the Zelda 40th Anniversary design, as well as a matching Carrying Case and Screen Protector set carrying the same theme. For fans looking for something more exclusive, Nintendo will also offer a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller with Display Stand in the Zelda 40th Anniversary design. This particular item will only be sold at select locations, including the Nintendo Store, Nintendo New York, and Nintendo San Francisco.
With this release of the 40th Anniversary Edition, Nintendo continues to mark the anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series through hardware and accessories aimed at longtime fans and collectors alike.
