Furry Battlefield: Iron Desert is an upcoming third-person battle royale game that will be released for mobile and PC developed in Unreal Engine 5.

Developed by Chinese Indie Game developers Armed Cat Studio, Furry Battlefield: Iron Desert will have players take control of anthropomorphic animals that not only have access to guns, but also skills that are unique to each animal character in a fast-paced battlefield to be the last one standing.

The game will also feature a skill system based on the characteristics of the animal, from size, strength, escaping or hunting, to allow players to unleash unique abilities in battle.

From the gameplay trailer, the game takes inspiration from various other battle royale titles with its mechanics, such as the more tactical gun-play gameplay from PUBG: Battlegrounds, and the fast-paced combat from using unique abilities like Apex Legends.

As of time of writing, there is still currently no release date as to when the title will be released, so fans who are interested in trying out the title will have to wait a while longer.

However, a limited closed-alpha test is currently underway on TapTap which will allow selected users to test out the early build of the game.
