You are dropped into a diverse, and hostile, open world in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Go at it alone or up to four-player co-op. The mysterious island of Auroa houses both technologically advanced facilities and wild, untamed nature. Tech giant and drone creators, Skell Technology, have their base here. However, the island’s been taken over, with no contact going through.
Former Ghosts gone rogue, made from the Wolves – a lethal ex-US military unit – are now in charge. Lt. Colonel Cole D. Walker – portrayed by Jon Bernthal – is Nomad’s ex-brother-in-arms, is calling the shots. Skell’s drones have been reprogrammed into killing machines, and the Wolves will use them, no matter the casualties.
Nomad and the Ghosts go on recon, but their helicopters get shot down. Injured, without support, and being hunted. live the intense military experience in a fight for survival. Take down the Wolves, and regain control of Auroa!
New challenges await players; from steep slopes, accumulating injuries, and fatigue. The varied terrains of Auroa give players total freedom in method of accomplishing missions. Plenty of tactical options and tools are open to you, including new military features. Carry enemy or teammate bodies, use prone camo to blend into the environment. Set up camp with teammates in the bivouac for equipment management, class change and strategy fine-tuning.
The PvP mode, Ghost War, has been seamlessly integrated into Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Share PvE and PvP progress with the same character and keep your unlocked classes, skills, customization items and weapons across modes! PvP will receive specific tuning for a fair and skill-based experience for all players.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint requires an internet connection to ensure the best experience possible; for both shared progression and regular updates in post-launch content support. Project Titan will be in Episode One, the first Ghost Recon Breakpoint raid. New Faction missions, PvP updates, and the first new class, engineer, will also be included. Episodes Two and Three will have 2 new Adventures, 2 new classes, PvP updates, new end-game content and live events. Each faction in Ghost Recon Breakpoint will evolve in narrative missions regularly updated into the game. Challenge yourself in 14 daily missions across the open world!
Retail Standard Editions will have the “Sacred Land Pack”, with an additional mission, melee weapon, and such to protect the Sacred Land from its enemies. Year One Pass owners have all Year One Adventures and related rewards, including: one-week early access to new classes, instant unlock to the Siren’s Call mission, and Special Operations Forces Pack. Episode One, Operation Greenstone, is also available for players.
