FromSoftware has opened sign-ups for the closed network test of The Duskbloods, its upcoming game for the Nintendo Switch 2. To apply and take part, players need to own a Nintendo Switch 2 system and have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, which is sold separately.
The Duskbloods is being described as a player-versus-player-versus-environment title. This means matches will have players competing against one another while also facing threats coming from the game environment itself.

For players in Southeast Asia, the sign-up form’s region list shows that the area is grouped under Asia Pacific, alongside Australia and New Zealand. Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand are among the countries listed as selectable options in that dropdown menu, meaning players from these countries are able to register for the test. The actual test sessions will run from August 21 to August 23, and FromSoftware has shared specific time slots for each day.
FromSoftware has explained that the purpose of the network test is to check different technical aspects of The Duskbloods specifically its online systems before the game’s service begins. This includes a game server load test, where a large number of players will be connected at the same time to see how well the servers hold up under that kind of traffic. Those interested in joining can still apply before the sign-up window closes on July 28.
