Crypton Future Media has revealed a new mobile game called Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection Mystery Music Planet Re:Merge, set to release for iOS and Android devices this fall in Japan. The game will be free to play with optional in-app purchases. The upcoming title will include familiar Piapro characters such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO. Crypton has not yet shared details on the game’s genre or other core features, saying more information will be revealed at a later date.

This new release follows the original Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection Mystery Music Planet, a card-based music RPG that launched on Android on October 28, 2014, and on iOS two days later on October 30, 2014. That version ran for about six years before its service ended on June 30, 2020. At the time, a western release of the original game was planned for 2015, but it never came to be.
As of now, Crypton has not confirmed whether Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection Mystery Music Planet Re:Merge will see a release outside of Japan. Fans outside the region will need to wait for further word from the company on that front. With the fall launch window approaching, more details about the game’s gameplay and features are expected to surface in the coming months.
