Digital Bros has officially announced the acquisition of the full intellectual property (IP) rights for the video game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, following an agreement with Chinese developer Chengdu Lingze Technology Co. Ltd (Leenzee). The transaction is valued at RMB 32 million (approximately EUR 4 million / around MYR 20.4 million).
The acquisition strengthens Digital Bros’ long-term control over one of its recent successful releases and eliminates any future royalty obligations tied to the title.
Strategic IP Acquisition to Strengthen Long-Term Value

According to Digital Bros, securing full ownership of the IP allows the company to retain all future value generated by the franchise. In addition, it provides greater flexibility in decision-making regarding future development, updates, and potential expansions.
The company confirmed that the transaction will be financed through existing credit lines and is aligned with its broader strategy of increasing the share of fully owned intellectual properties within its portfolio.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Performance Overview

Developed by Leenzee and published by Digital Bros’ subsidiary 505 Games, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a soulslike action RPG set during the late Ming Dynasty in the land of Shu.
The game launched on July 24, 2025, and was released across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and also made available via Xbox Game Pass.
At launch, the title saw strong global performance. It reached the top of Steam’s Global Top Sellers chart prior to release and recorded over 130,000 concurrent players on Steam on launch day.
As of March 31, 2026, the game has sold more than 1 million units, generating over EUR 30 million (approximately MYR 153 million) in net revenue after tax duties and commissions.
Financial and Operational Impact

Digital Bros stated that the acquisition is not expected to significantly impact the company’s previously disclosed business outlook for the current fiscal year. However, the move is expected to support margin expansion and improve long-term revenue potential from the title.
The company also noted that its collaboration with Leenzee has remained positive, with no outstanding financial disputes between both parties at the time of acquisition.
Digital Bros Strengthens 505 Games Portfolio

Digital Bros continues to operate globally through its publishing label 505 Games, with offices in Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, China, Japan, Australia, and Canada.
With this acquisition, the company reinforces its strategy of expanding ownership of key intellectual properties, aiming to maximise long-term value creation across its game portfolio.

The full announcement has been made available through official company channels and regulatory platforms.
