The raging demon Akuma has finally made his grand entrance into Street Fighter 6 in Season 2, and to celebrate his release, GamesMY Esports has organized a hands-on experience event.

As announced on Facebook, GamesMY Esports has set up an exclusive hands-on experience event and release party for fans to try out Akuma in Street Fighter 6 Season 2.

The event will be held on May 24th, 2024, from 6 pm to 12 am (MYT), at GamesMY Studio at Maxim Citylights Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Apart from Street Fighter 6, the announcement also noted that there are other popular fighting game titles available at the venue as well.

Akuma is the latest fan-favorite fighter to return as a DLC in Street Fighter 6, and no doubt one of the most popular villains in the franchise.

In the latest reincarnation of him, Akuma was given various new moves and tweaks to existing attacks, as well as a new iteration of his iconic Shun Goku Satsu super move, best known as Raging Demon in English.

Released on May 22nd, Akuma also brought along the second season of Street Fighter 6, with many balance changes and new move options for existing characters.

Prior to Akuma’s release, we got an opportunity to speak to fighting game pro player Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi in an interview as he shared his thoughts about his favorite character’s return.
