PlayStation teams up with NBA player Paul George to release PS5-themed shoes

Professional basketball player Paul George announces his new PS5-themed shoes released in partnership with PlayStation and Nike Basketball. These new sneakers, the PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway, look incredible.

The sneakers will be available in selected regions in the coming week on 14th May 2021. It goes without saying that they will definitely be sold out incredibly quickly, so stay tuned on your local Nike website to keep an eye out for their availability.

According to seven-time NBA All-Star and LA Clippers number 13, Paul George:

“Just like the PlayStation 5 console, the PG 5 is my platform to take my game to the next level, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring these two elements together in this new partnership with PlayStation. Nike and PlayStation designers, including Yujin Morisawa – the artist behind the PS5 console’s design – worked closely together to bring the spirit of my game and the look of PS5 to life in this unique collaboration.”

This is not the first time PlayStation has themed shoes. In fact, Paul George has worked with both PlayStation and Nike Basketball in the past to release the PG 2.5 x PlayStation colorway.
