Tokyo Game Show 2026 Opens Paid Business Day Registration, Reveals Early Details on Keynote and Forum Sessions

The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA), led by Chairman Haruhiro Tsujimoto, opened paid advance registration for the Business Days of Tokyo Game Show 2026 on Thursday, July 30. The Business Days will run on September 17 and 18, ahead of the show’s public days. Registration is available through the official TGS online system, and every applicant must go through a screening process to confirm they work in the game industry. Only those who pass this screening will be allowed to attend.

Alongside the registration announcement, CESA also shared partial details about the Keynote and TGS Forum Organizer Sessions taking place during the show. Advance reservations for these sessions will open separately on Monday, August 24.

For Business Day registration, visitors have three pass options. The Business Day Standard Pass costs 16,500 yen, tax included, and is meant for visitors who do not already have a Business Day Registration Code. Those who received a code from an exhibitor, which is distributed to industry professionals, can register for free instead.

Visitors wanting extra features can choose the Business Day Gold Pass, priced at 44,000 yen, or 27,500 yen for those with a registration code. This pass includes access to the Business Lounge and the ability to set up appointments with other attendees through the TGS Business Matching System. A higher tier, the Business Day Black Pass, costs 110,000 yen, or 93,500 yen for code holders. It includes everything in the Gold Pass along with access to an exclusive lounge and a dedicated entrance.

The Business Days are set aside specifically for professionals in the game industry to hold meetings and conduct business. Once registration is complete, attendees can use the TGS Business Matching System, which is scheduled to launch on Friday, August 7, to arrange meetings with exhibitors ahead of the event. Gold Pass and Black Pass holders can also use the system to schedule appointments with other registered Business Day attendees, not just exhibitors.
