Kakao Games has announced a new title from developer Kong Studios called Guardian Maiden, set to release on PC and mobile platforms worldwide. The game marks the latest collaboration between the two companies, who have worked together on previous projects. Guardian Maiden is an action RPG that follows a Hero and a Saint as they set out to stop a growing evil threat in a fantasy world. The game features a wide range of characters and uses vibrant pixel art, a style similar to what Kong Studios used in its earlier game.
Kong Studios CEO Kwangwon Seok spoke about the announcement, saying the team is excited to bring Guardian Maiden to players everywhere. He noted that the game draws on the studio’s experience with pixel art, action combat, and collectible RPG systems, and that the team is working closely with Kakao Games to deliver a polished experience for players around the world.

Kakao Games Co-CEO Siwoo Lee also commented on the partnership, pointing to Kong Studios’ track record of strong game development and creative vision. He said the long-standing relationship between the two companies made this new collaboration an easy decision, and that both sides are looking forward to bringing Guardian Maiden to a global audience.
At this time, Kakao Games and Kong Studios have not released a specific launch date. Both companies say more information about Guardian Maiden will be shared in the coming months, with additional details expected on gameplay, characters, and release plans as development progresses.
