Garena has announced that it will be publishing Monster Hunter Outlanders in Southeast Asia, with pre-registrations now open for players in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. The mobile title, developed by TiMi Studio, first caught attention when its closed beta was announced last year, and this latest update brings it a step closer to a full release.
The core premise of Monster Hunter Outlanders remains largely the same as before, but a few additions have been introduced. Monsters in this entry will now include a “Radiant Species” variant that is unique to the game. The crafting and survival elements that were part of the beta are still present, allowing players to build launchers and ziplines to get around the map more easily. Combat has also been adjusted, with Garena describing it as letting players pull off combo moves smoothly using just a single button press.
Players will still be able to team up with up to three others for hunts, but for those without a full squad, NPC characters called Adventurers can fill the remaining slots.
