Developer GPTRACK50 has announced that its original action RPG, Stupid Never Dies, is set to launch in Fall 2026 on Playstation 5 and PC via Steam. The announcement came alongside a new trailer and a batch of fresh details about the game’s story, characters, and mechanics.
At the center of the game is Davy, a zombie who holds the title of weakest creature in the monster world, and by his own reputation, a complete coward. His motivation is straightforward: revive Julia, a woman he fell head over heels for at first sight, and take her on a date. That personal goal ends up pulling him into a larger conflict as his eccentric group of companions each bring their own reasons to the table, eventually pushing the whole crew toward facing a common enemy.
The game’s combat is built around a system called Style Eat, which lets Davy consume monsters and absorb their abilities. This gives him access to 11 total forms including his default Zombie Style and 10 others: Werewolf, Harpy, Golem, Vampire, Will-o’-the-Wisp, Cyclops, Snow Fairy, Merfolk, Lich, and Demon. A newly revealed key visual puts all 11 forms on display at once.
The second trailer goes beyond the combat to show more of the game as a whole. It introduces the supporting cast of companions who travel alongside Davy, and gives a first look at several boss characters. The trailer also sheds light on a progression mechanic called Body Hack, which lets players modify Davy’s body over the course of the game. GPTRACK50 describes the overall gameplay style as Funky Zombie Action, which lines up with the game’s visually distinct art direction.
