Publisher Fictions and developer Game Freak have shared new details on their upcoming action RPG Beast of Reincarnation, including the full voice cast for the game.

Leading the cast for Beast of Reincarnation is Yui Ishikawa, who will voice the game’s protagonist Emma. Joining her are Miyuki Satou, Akio Otsuka, Sumire Morohoshi, Yu Kobayashi, Akira Ishida, Satoshi Mikami, Rina Satoh, and Tetsuo Kanao.

Game director Kota Furushima also shared some words about the project, touching on both the story and how the game’s combat system came together. “The story, combat, art, sound, technology, and the incredible performances of our voice cast, everything has culminated into this singular experience,” Furushima said. He described Emma as a protagonist living without memories or emotions, who crosses paths with a companion named Coo, someone who would normally be her enemy. The two then set off on a journey together.

On the gameplay side, Furushima explained that the team built the combat around the pairing of Emma and Coo, blending the strategy of directing Coo’s techniques with the real-time sword combat that Emma handles directly. “By leveraging Emma and Koo’s synergy, we successfully combined the strategic depth of commanding Coo’s techniques with the thrilling real-time action of Emma’s sword abilities,” he said.

Beast of Reincarnation is set to launch on August 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. It will also be available through Game Pass on day one.
