A Japanese student development team going by KOJIMA_CREATE has revealed early development footage for their upcoming 3D action brawler, Jirai-kei Girl: Vengeance, and it has been making waves on Japanese X for its over-the-top premise. The game puts players in control of a “Jirai-kei” girl out for revenge after her boyfriend cheats on her.
The goal? Track down her ex and every girl he cheated with, and beat them all up.

浮気された”地雷系女子”が彼氏と浮気相手に復讐するゲームです!🔥— KOJIMA_CREATE (@KOJIMA_CREATE) May 9, 2026
For those unfamiliar, Jirai-kei is a Japanese fashion subculture that mixes cute, girly visuals with darker and more emotional undertones. The name literally means “landmine style,” and it comes from the internet term Jirai Onna, or “landmine woman,” which was used to describe someone who appears sweet on the surface but is emotionally intense underneath. The developers describe the game as channeling the “overwhelming affection” tied to that subculture.
The game features a free-flow combat system built for taking on multiple enemies at once. Players can switch between targets on the fly using directional inputs, keeping fights fast and fluid. The team is currently working on tightening up how hits feel and expanding the combo system to make the revenge-fueled action more satisfying.

Beyond the brawler, the Japanese developers have hinted that the heroine’s revenge spree may not be as straightforward as it seems, suggesting there is more to the story than just settling scores. Jirai-kei Girl: Vengeance is set to launch on PC via Steam in Q4 2026.
