On December 9, new Divinity logos and two symbols appeared in European trademark filings. While the owner remains undisclosed, the representative is IHDE & Partner Rechtsanwälte.

This is the same firm that handles trademarks for Larian Studios. Because of this, many fans believe the filings link to a new Divinity project. The timing also suggests an official reveal could happen soon.

Symbol Matches The Game Awards Tease

One of the newly filed symbols closely resembles a mysterious statue teased by Geoff Keighley ahead of The Game Awards 2025. He began teasing the statue on November 28. The reveal is set for December 11. Because of the visual match, speculation has grown quickly. Many now believe the statue hints at a new Divinity game.

PS5 Backend Update Strengthens the Rumour

A PlayStation 5 version of Divinity: Original Sin II – Definitive Edition also appeared on the PlayStation Network backend. Twitter user spotted the update.
