NOVAFRONT Soft Launches in the Philippines, Kakao Games’ New Sci-Fi Strategy Adventure

Kakao Games Corp. has soft launched its new sci-fi strategy simulation, NOVAFRONT, on Android in the Philippines. The publisher has yet to confirm an iOS version or a global release date, but players worldwide are watching closely for updates.

A World After the Quaser War

NOVAFRONT takes place on a fractured Earth after humanity’s war against the alien Quasers. Players step into the role of a Commander, leading humanity’s final hope, the NOVAs. These small but powerful units, fueled by the rare resource Stellite, serve as both weapons and companions. The game blends tactical combat with long-term progression, creating a balance between action and strategy.

Squad Battles and Unique NOVAs

Players can recruit and lead different NOVAs, each with unique abilities and personalities. Heroes such as Gunsmith, Lifeliner, and Schemer bring their own strengths to the battlefield. Commanders organize these squads to take part in raids and massive boss fights. Victory depends on careful planning, smart squad composition, and timely execution.

Base Building and Resource Management

Beyond combat, NOVAFRONT emphasizes base development. Commanders build facilities like repair factories, artillery posts, and workshops to reinforce defenses and expand their reach. These choices influence how quickly players can strengthen their squads and prepare for larger challenges.
