Tokyo Game Show is back this year with four packed days of announcements, showcases, and celebrations. With the event returning to its usual home at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, fans and industry professionals alike are gearing up for one of he gaming calendar’s biggest highlights. Here’s everything we know so far about Tokyo Game Show 2025.
Dates, Schedule, and Venue
Tokyo Game Show 2025 will run from September 25 to 28. The first two days, September 25 and 26, will be dedicated to business attendees, with the show floor open for press, partners and industry professionals between 10:00 AM and 17:00 PM JST. For us, that translates to September 25, 1:00 AM GMT+8.
The weekend of September 27 and 28, will shift the focus to the general public. During these days, doors will open at 9:30 AM and closes at 16:30 PM JST, giving fans their chance to experience the exhibition floor. For those of us tuning in, this means a September 27 kickoff at 12:30 AM GMT+8.
Tokyo Game Show 2025 has released the complete schedule for its event stages and official programs. Over the four-day event, there will be 14 stage programs (with 7 organized by exhibitors) and 22 official programs. Many of these programs will be streamed online as official content.

New Influencer Announcements
TGS2025 has named its second wave of official influencers, called TGS BOOSTERZ. These content creators will help promote the event worldwide. The newly announced influencers are AXIS_MYCALL (a Korean strategy game streamer), Kawaii Coco (a Japanese comedy creator from Kyoto), Kenki (a U.S. lifestyle and gaming influencer with over 700,000 followers), Kuronetsu Denkyu, and Moga Mogami.

Family Game Park

This year’s Family Game Park will introduce two themed zones, Asobiba! offers a hand-on play area where kids can try out demo versions of upcoming titles from major publishers like Capcom, SEGA, Konami, Square Enix, and Level-5.
Meanwhile Manabiba! focuses on creativity and learning, providing workshops and activities that give aspiring young developers a chance to explore how games are made.
Families can also look forward to stage events, character meet-and-greets, special food truck menus, and a stamp rally with prizes. The official website has published the full map and schedule, giving visitors a chance to plan ahead.
Streaming the Event

As in past years, Tokyo Game Show ill also host a four-day digital broadcast, covering presentations, trailers, and live events for a global audience. Official streams will be available on YouTube, Twitch, X, and TikTok, with additional broadcasts planned for Bilibili, Douyin, and Niconico. Globak start times and program schedules will be revealed closer to the event.
772 Exhibitors
Tokyo Game Show 2025 is on track to become the biggest edition in the event’s history, following the official exhibitor list revealed by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA).
This year’s show will host a staggering 227 exhibitors, where 473 are from Japan and the other 299 being from overseas, and spanning 4083 booths in total. That number easily surpasses last year’s record of 3252 booths, further cementing TGS as one of the premier stages for the global gaming industry.
With companies representing 46 different countries and regions, the event is set to deliver a truly international showcase of upcoming titles and innovations.
Capcom’s Big Lineup

Several of Capcom’s biggest upcoming releases will take the spotlight at TGS 2025. Resident Evil Requiem continues the legendary survival horror series with a new chapter built for next-generation platforms, while the long-awaited PRAGMATA returns with fresh updates after years of silence.

Before the physical show begins, Capcom will host the Tokyo Game Show 2025 Capcom Online Special Program on September 24. This pre-recorded livestream will be broadcast worldwide. The program will deliver fresh announcements, gameplay reveals, and news updates for fans who cannot attend TGS in person.
Sony’s Big Lineup

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed its preliminary plans for Tokyo Game Show 2025, The company has also opened its dedicated event website and shared the first wave of titles that we be featured at the show. The preliminary lineup of Sony is currently :

- Astro Bot
Sony confirmed that more announcements are on the way, including a full list of playable titles, stage schedules, and exclusive merchandise. Koei Tecmo’s Big Lineup

As for Koei Tecmo, they will be showing off three playable demos which are :

- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment
- Ninja Gaiden 4
Alongside its games, Koei Tecmo is preparing an extensive merchandise booth for fans during the public exhibition days, featuring collectibles like Atelier Yumia acrylic figures, Dynasty Warriors: Origins keychains, and exclusive Nioh 3 T-shirts.
Bandai Namco’s Big Lineup

Bandai Namco is preparing one of the largest presences at TGS 2025, spreading across multiple halls with game demos, cosplay events, exclusive campaigns, and a dedicated Asobi Store both on-site and online.
Bandai Namco’s lineup for TGS 2025 is currently made of :

- Once Upon a Katamari Damacy
Beyond the main stage, Bandai Namco is also putting emphasis on accessibility and family play with a presence at the Family Game Park. Here, titles such as Everybody’s Golf World and Tamagotchi Puchi Puchi Omisetchi will be showcased, providing hands-on fun alongside novelty items designed for children and parents alike.
To complement the show floor activities, the publisher is also running a special Asobi Store pop-up at TGS, where fans can purchase exclusive merchandise connected to featured titles. These products will also be available through the online store beginning September 25, allowing fans who cannot attend the event still be part of the celebration.
Shueisha Games’ Big Lineup

Shueisha Games has confirmed its full lineup for TGS 2025, which is a mix of new titles and sequels. The publisher is preparing an impressive showcase complete with numerous demo stations to give fans hands-on time with its upcoming projects.

Square Enix’s major lineup

Square Enix has unveiled their lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2025, and they’re not pulling any stops this year.
The lineup of games would include:
- Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake
- Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles
- Octopath Traveler 0
- The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
- KILLER INN
Besides the game lineups, Square has also announced that they will be holding many on-site events. These events are a must-try as they give you the chance to win and acquire many official and time-limited merchandises.
Kemco’s lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2025

Kemco has announced that they will have 3 games as their main attraction for their showcase.
These games are:
- Depth Loop
- Ending the Happy Route
- Ringamu-Koku no Bokensakaba
Success Corporation’s TGS 2025 lineup

Success Corporation has unveiled their lineup of games for their booth, with gifts to go along with it.
The games making up the lineup is:
- Cotton Rock With You
- An unannounced Shoot ‘Em Up game
Playing the demo at these booths, will even award the attendees with a badge and a clear file.
Other Confirmed Exhibitors
In addition to those already detailed, Tokyo Game Show 2025 will also feature SEGA, Square Enix, and Kojima Productions, each expected to bring major announcements and playable demos. Back in July, the vent organizers, CESA (Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association), released a trailer confirming the roster of exhibitors, accompanied by striking new event artwork to set the tone for this year’s show.
