Risdom, a mobile rhythm game that lets users learn English, is set to launch in Japan in Spring 2024, with pre-registrations now open.

Risdom is developed in a joint collaboration between Japanese educational service company Benesse and SEGA XD, and combines the importance of repetition and continuity in learning English through a rhythm game.

Being priced at 980 yen per month, the game aims to make English learning a habit through repeated daily game-like use, and to help users naturally acquire a vocabulary of 10,000 English words and 1,000 grammar themes at the Eiken Levels 5 to 1 and TOEIC Levels 600 to 900.

In anticipation of the game’s upcoming launch, Risdom is now open for pre-registrations, and users who are interested can register over at the game’s official website.

A pre-registration campaign is also currently ongoing, and the game will reward players a handful of in-game items upon reaching certain milestones, with a new song titled “ゼロ距離でいよう” performed by Japanese Youtuber MINAMI will be added as a special co-op level that can be played after reaching 50,000 pre-registrations.

In addition, Risdom has plans to collaborate with various influencers and popular brands, including Mitsubishi Pencil, KOKUYO, Morinaga Confectionery, and more.

Risdom is set to launch in Spring 2024 for both Android and iOS devices.
