Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park will launch on March 26. The game introduces new cooperative and competitive gameplay, along with enhancements designed specifically for Nintendo Switch 2.
Explore Bellabel Park with Friends

The new edition brings players to Bellabel Park, a vibrant area of the Flower Kingdom featuring two large plazas filled with attractions. Players can team up or compete in challenges such as Fast Cash: Tip Tap’s Coin Spree, collecting as many gold coins as possible, or Knock ‘em Back: Bubble Blaster, where surviving with the most lives wins.
Local Multiplayer Plaza offers 17 attractions for up to four players on a single system, with GameShare functionality allowing one player to share the game locally with up to three friends. Game Room Plaza supports both online and local wireless play, enabling up to 12 players to compete across six additional attractions.
New Features in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Bellabel Park also includes the Toad Brigade Training Camp, where players can test their skills across various courses from the main game. Training can be completed solo or cooperatively with up to three other players. As you progress, you rise through the ranks of the Toad Brigade and aim to become an elite explorer.
For new players, Assist Mode offers a more forgiving experience. Players can recover from falls or avoid taking damage, making the game accessible to all skill levels.
Familiar Faces and New Challenges

This edition introduces Rosalina to the Flower Kingdom for the first time, accompanied by Co-Star Luma, who assists in cooperative play. Luma cannot take damage and can help players by spinning to defeat enemies and collect coins. Players can even control Luma with the Nintendo Switch 2 mouse functionality.
Meanwhile, the Koopalings return as mischievous enemies, stealing treasure in Bellabel Park and challenging players to battle them across various worlds.
Upgrade Pack and Amiibo

Existing Super Mario Bros. Wonder owners can access the new content through an upgrade pack for Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are available now via the My Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop. Launching alongside the game are three new amiibo: Elephant Mario, Poplin & Prince Florian, and Captain Toad & Talking Flower. Additionally, the Talking Flower will be available to purchase separately starting March 12.
With its mix of cooperative play, new challenges, and exciting enhancements for Nintendo Switch 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park promises to bring both longtime fans and newcomers together in the Flower Kingdom this spring.
