That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories is finally adding a new 5★ variant of everyone’s favourite ninja, Souei. However, let’s take a look at his skills to see if he’s worth the Magicrystals needed for pulling him.
[Successful Shinobi] Souei is an earth-element unit who deals physical damage. In terms of stats, his HP leans on the higher side. Fortunately, his Secret Skill is single-target, which means more damage and better bossing.
As for his skills, Earth Souei’s first skill is a self-buff that gives him 80% (100%) crit rate while also reducing an enemy’s crit resistance by 10% for 1 turn. The skill costs only 25 (15) skill points.
His second skill transfers 2 of his Soul Cards to another party member while also increasing the team’s Secret Skill gauge increase by 5% (10%) for 1 turn. The skill costs only 25 (15) skill points.
Souei’s first skill is great. It makes him the definitive DPS that the earth team is currently missing. However, his second skill is rather worthless. Most of the time, you’ll want Souei to have the Soul Cards, not another party member. Basically, his only worth to your party is to pop open his buff and drop critical hits or a Secret Skill on the enemy.
Overall, Souei is a great unit. While not OP, Souei is the best damage dealer the earth team has at the moment in Slime ISEKAI Memories. If you have the Magicrystals to spare, do consider pulling him. If not, it’s okay to wait to see who’s the next 5★ earth element character that will be coming.
