SEGA has shared an in-depth look and new gameplay details for RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, introducing characters that help Raidou and showcasing key locations, unique features, and free DLC.
Characters
In this remastered edition, experience Raidou Kuzunoha’s journey brought to life with full voice acting. Enjoy a talented cast led by Tomokazu Sugita in the titular role!
Dr. Tsukumo (Fumihiko Tachiki)
A self-declared scientist entirely absorbed in his research. His lifelong ambition is to launch his own rocket into space. He spends nearly every waking moment in his secluded shack on the outskirts of Fukagawa-Cho, proudly dubbed the Amazing Science Lab. His unrestrained enthusiasm and easygoing attitude have earned him the affection of those around him.

Owner of Ryugu (Shizuka Ito)
She runs Ryugu, a restaurant located in the suburbs of Ginza-Cho. Her establishment regularly serves influential figures from politics, business, and the military. Detective Narumi often visits during his investigations, often that he’s amassed a debt too large to ignore. As a sharp businesswoman, she also manages her family’s trading enterprise.

Denpachi Iida (Shinya Takahashi)
Ryugu’s dedicated rickshaw runner. Orphaned at a young age, he turned to rickshaw running to support his younger sister. Proud of his profession, he deeply resents the growing popularity of automobiles, which has cut into his business.

Owner of Konnou-Ya (Masaharu Sato)
An antique dealer operating in Tsukudo-Cho. His passion for his trade is so intense that he’s rarely seen without his account ledger in hand.

Owner of Shin-Sekai (Masaki Terasoma)
Proprietor of the Shin-Sekai Soda Joint, a modest eatery in Ginza-Cho. He maintains ties with Yatagarasu and discreetly assists Devil Summoners, though much about him remains shrouded in mystery.

Herald of Yatagarasu (Sayaka Ohara)
A courier for Yatagarasu, a secretive supranational organization. She’s responsible for delivering messages and supplies to Raidou. Adept in mystical arts, she can perform the Ritual of Entry, which grants Raidou passage to the Dark Realm throughout the Capital.

Districts of the Capital
As the investigation progresses, players will have the opportunity to explore various parts of the Capital, ranging from neighborhoods rich in traditional charm to areas shaped by Western influence and modern development.
Tsukudo-Cho
Home to the Narumi Detective Agency and Raidou’s base of operations. This lively district is lined with shops and frequented by a diverse mix of residents.

Fukagawa-Cho
A historic downtown area that preserves the spirit of the Edo period. While its residents live in humble row houses, the district remains a popular destination thanks to its bathhouse, sideshow attractions, and entertainment spots.

Ginza-Cho
The bustling commercial heart of the Capital. Known for its modern vibe, the district features tall buildings, streetcars, and the steady hum of automobile traffic along its main thoroughfares.

Harumi-Cho
A portside district with prominent Western influences, evident in its red-brick buildings and churches. As a major hub for international trade, it’s a frequent stop for sailors and foreign travelers alike.

Key Locations
Narumi Detective Agency
Located in Tsukudo-Cho, this is Raidou’s base of operations, a reliable place to save your game, recover health, and track case progress. If players are unsure how to proceed with the investigation, stopping by here might point them in the right direction.
After obtaining a specific item, players can also challenge Narumi or owned demons to a game of mahjong. Players performance earns cash rewards based on certain scores.
Konnou-Ya
An antique shop situated in Tsukudo-Cho. Here, Raidou can stock up on useful battle items and materials for Sword Alchemy.

Shin-Sekai Soda Joint
A discreet gathering place for Devil Summoners. Raidou can order special drinks here that provide temporary stat boosts.

Nameless Shrine
A weathered, hidden shrine tucked away in the Capital. By following the right steps, players can summon the Herald of Yatagarasu to perform the Ritual of Entry, granting Raidou access to the demon-filled Dark Realm.

The shrine’s washstand also serves as the gateway to the secret Training Hall, where Devil Summoners train against demons held by Yatagarasu. As players grow stronger, up to a total of 10 more floors become available.
The Training Hall features the Trial of a Hundred Demons, a timed gauntlet where you must defeat 100 demons in succession. Conquer the challenge, and the Herald will reward your efforts.
