Pokémon TCG Pocket Unveils Ultra Beasts Debut In the Extradimensional Crisis Booster Pack

Following the release of Triumphant Light, The Pokémon Company has unveiled the fourth themed booster pack for Pokémon: Trading Card Game Pocket (Pokémon TCG Pocket), titled Extradimensional Crisis. This new set also marks the debut of Ultra Beasts this coming May 29!

Originally appearing in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon video games, Ultra Beasts are mysterious beings from another dimension, known for emerging through Ultra Wormholes and radiating a strange, alien energy. Pokémon TCG Pocket will now feature cards like Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex, along with additional Pokémon from the Alola region, including the first appearance of Type: Null.

To celebrate the arrival of Ultra Beasts in Pokémon TCG Pocket, a special themed binder cover featuring these formidable creatures will be available in the Shop starting May 29. Players can purchase it using shop tickets. In addition, a new floral display board will allow players to showcase their favorite card. This item can be obtained using event shop tickets earned during the upcoming Wonder Pick event, which runs from June 11 to 28.

June will also feature three in-game events tied to the Ultra Beasts’ debut. The first, the Ultra Beast Drop Event, runs from June 3 to 13 and offers players the chance to earn new promo cards – including Ultra Necrozma ex – through special solo battles. Next, the Wonder Pick Event takes place from June 11 to 21, offering promo cards for Poipole and Stufful. Finally, the Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak Event kicks off June 22 and ends June 28, during which Ultra Beast-related cards will have an increased chance of appearing in rare and bonus picks.
