Pre-registration for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Chronicle of Echoes is now live in Japan. Publisher GREE and developer ASOBIMO have announced that players can sign up ahead of launch on PC through DMM Games, on iOS through the App Store, and on Android through Google Play. The game is set to release sometime in 2026.
The game is a free-to-play 3D battle RPG based on the popular isekai light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote. The original Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel is widely recognized as one of the defining works of the isekai reincarnation genre. The series also has an ongoing anime adaptation, with its third season, Mushoku Tensei III: Jobless Reincarnation, set to begin airing in July 2026. As part of the announcement, a new key visual for the game was also revealed.
Chronicle of Echoes aims to bring the world of Mushoku Tensei to mobile and PC. The game will let players revisit the anime’s story through newly voiced narration, while also including fully voiced story content from the original light novel that was not shown in the anime. On top of that, the game features original episodes made exclusively for this title.
Outside of battles and story content, the game includes a character interaction system. Players can have conversations with characters during downtime, and a “Private Time” feature offers more personal moments with specific characters.
Battle-wise, the game uses turn-based combat designed to be easy to pick up. Party formation and skill selection play a role in how fights play out, adding a layer of strategy without overcomplicating things.
