This major update will introduce swimsuit-themed skins for several Marvel heroes and villains, alongside a brand-new reward track, limited-time store bundles, and small patch fixes. Suit Up for Summer: New Swimsuit Skins Revealed
At the center of the Summer Special is a reward pass featuring both free and premium tiers.
For the free reward, players can get a Thor “Worthy Waves” skin, which sees the God of Thunder embracing beach vibes with black swim trunks, stylish sunglasses, and a bright yellow headband—perfect for some laid-back summer action. This skin is available at Level 14 of the event pass.
Those who unlock the premium tier will gain access to The Thing “Sunshine Thing” skin, where the rocky hero trades his usual gear for a black Speedo and floral accessories, giving off strong tropical vacation energy.
Also included is Luna Snow’s “Cool Summer” skin, featuring the K-pop-inspired hero in a chic blue-and-white swimsuit that brings icy cool flair to the heated battlefield.
Players can earn XP by completing matches to level up the pass. Those who upgrade to the premium tier unlock exclusive content and gain permanent access to complete the event at their own pace.
Limited-Time Store Skins
The summer doesn’t stop there. On July 18, 2025, at 2 AM UTC, new swimsuit-themed bundles will hit the in-game store:
- Psylocke – Breezy Butterfly Bundle
- Loki – Robe of Relaxation Bundle
Other skins that will be available in the store too, such as:
- Psylocke: Violet Veil, Moonlit Mirage
- Luna Snow: Radiant Radiance, Prismatic Pulse
- Thor: Azure Skies
- Loki: Tidal Trickery
Luna Snow (Cool Summer) and Psylocke’s (Breeze Butterfly) summer costumes will also feature custom VFX for ultimate abilities, adding a flashier feel to your gameplay.
Summer Special Patch Notes Summary
While the main focus is on cosmetics, a few gameplay tweaks are included in this update:
- Accessory Points can now be earned through Practice vs. AI matches.
- Fixed several bugs across maps, including terrain clipping and object collision.
- Monster Hulk’s Ultimate visual glitch has been fixed.
- Magneto’s block bug has been resolved for smoother combat interactions.
- Keybind settings for keyboard and controller now work independently.
This update won’t require server downtime, so players can jump in immediately once it goes live.
