First announced in June last year, the Knights of Sidonia mobile game, Knights of Sidonia: Shoui no Kizuna is available for pre-registration. Note that this is the game’s Japanese title. Currently, there is no news for an English release. The pre-registration is only open in Japan.

Development of Knights of Sidonia: Shoui no Kizuna is helmed by WFS. Fans of anime-themed mobile may recognise the developer as the studio behind other notable mobile gacha games, such as Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space and DanMachi Memoria Freese.

While there is no specific release date for the upcoming title, players can expect the game to release later this year. Players can pre-register through the game’s website.

Currently, WFS is offering a special reward should the number of pre-registrations pass 30,000 players. Players will receive a special Ena Hoshijiro costume once this target is met.

Mobile game aside, the Knights of Sidonia series will be getting a new anime film. Knights of Sidonia: Ai Tsumugu Hoshi will air in Japanese theatres on 14th May 2021. You can watch the special video broadcast for the series which touches on the film here:
