With the new Omni-Ubiquity Net Gadget in Genshin Impact, you will now be able to catch small animals for your Serenitea Pot. Here’s a compilation of the animals you can catch, and where to find them, to be updated as required.

GETTING THE NET

You will need to have the World Quest “Omni-Ubiquity Net” unlocked. Going through the dialogue will unlock the gadget for you. The World Quest should be available with the end of the Bantan Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog event. If there are other requirements if you haven’t done the event, it will be updated as required.

PREPARING TO CATCH

Having both Sayu and Aloy in your party to catch the various living beings will be very useful thanks to their Talents. Their Talents affect different living beings, hence being used in tandem. Since many are small creatures, you’ll have to keep an eye out for those hiding in the grass.

Each time you use a waypoint, remember to re-equip the net. Otherwise, you might end up accidentally killing your target instead.

You can hold down the button to aim the net, but you can also just tap to release it and catch the nearest creature.

The creatures you’ll be able to catch will be marked in your Living Beings Archive with a net symbol. You can buy five nets per week, at 10,000 Mora each.

If you try to catch an animal that cannot be netted, the net will not be consumed.
