Gran Saga has gotten its release date for Japan, slated to launch 18 November 2021. In conjunction with the announcement, the Japanese release’s theme song is none other than MAKAFUKA, as written and performed by RADWIMPS. The Youtube channel also has released a short animation featuring the song, with the full length version to be released at a later date. You can watch it below:

Gran Saga launched in South Korea in January this year, with this Japan release following relatively quickly all things considered. At time of writing, there’s still yet to be actual news or confirmation regarding a global launch date, so fans have yet more to wait. The game is described as such:

Gran Saga is an upcoming mobile MMORPG from Korean developer NPIXEL, featuring cross-play between mobile and PC. Gran Saga features an anime-inspired art style, and features 3D hack-n-slash combat using a variety of weapons.

In Gran Saga, you utilize different Grans which act as a catalyst for weapons and playstyle. By switching Grans, players can utilize different moves to change up the combat. There are a plethora of different Gran weapons to collect and utilize.
