Natsume and IMAGICA GEEQ have announced a new release date for Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea. The farming and adventure game was originally set to launch on September 24, but it will now arrive on October 15 instead. The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch, and PC through Steam. Players on PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Switch will be able to choose between physical and digital copies, while the PC version will be digital only through Steam.

Echoes of Teradea follows a character who grows up in the quiet town of Bloomfield Village before being pulled into a bigger adventure.

Beyond farming, the game places a strong focus on exploration. Teradea is described as a large, open world with caves, remote islands, and small towns to discover, along with items and animals that are unique to certain areas. Players can also pursue relationships with ten datable characters, split evenly between bachelors and bachelorettes, with the option to build a lasting relationship with one of them over time.

Animals play a bigger role than usual in this entry. Rather than staying on the farm, animal companions can join players out in the world, each offering a different skill that helps with getting around or clearing obstacles like fallen trees and rocks.

With the release date now moved, players looking forward to Echoes of Teradea will need to wait a few extra weeks before they can start their journey through Teradea.
