Developer D-ZARD has announced that their upcoming free-to-play battle royale game ASURAJANG will launch on PC via Steam on March 27, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions planned for release at a later date.
ASURAJANG introduces a fresh take on the battle royale genre by incorporating melee combat mechanics with anime-style graphics. The game pits 33 players against each other in intense battles where mastering combos and counters is essential for victory. Players can choose from over 12 unique characters, each with their own special abilities and Ultimate Actions that can dramatically change the course of a match. The game offers both Solos Mode for individual play and Trios Mode for team-based strategy.

Combat in ASURAJANG draws inspiration from fighting games, emphasizing a system of combos, dodges, and counters. Timing is crucial as players must watch for openings in their opponents’ defenses while maintaining their own guard. The game features high-quality cartoon-rendered characters with customization options including various costumes, animated emotes, and emojis.
With its emphasis on close-quarters combat and strategic ultimate abilities, ASURAJANG aims to deliver a unique experience in the competitive battle royale market when it launches later this month. As ASURAJANG prepares for its Steam debut on March 27, console players can look forward to experiencing this unique take on the battle royale formula when it arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms in the future.
