A new immersive Pokémon experience is on the way, and it promises to let fans step into the shoes of a Pokémon Trainer for real.
Canadian multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory and Japanese real estate company Mitsui Fudosan have announced a long-term partnership with the goal of “delivering innovative fan experiences.” As part of that partnership, the two companies are working with The Pokémon Company International on a project that combines interactive technology and storytelling to bring the world of Pokémon to life.

Details are still limited, but the experience is described as something that will bring fans together and let them “step into the role” of a Pokémon Trainer in unique ways. It is planned to tour select locations around the world, with Europe set as the first stop in Spring 2027.
This is not the first time Moment Factory and Mitsui Fudosan have teamed up. The two previously worked together on Light Cycles, a well-received experience held at the Kyoto Botanical Gardens in Japan to mark its 100th anniversary. According to the official announcement, the companies are also looking at a wider lineup of future projects that blend technology, art, and well-known intellectual properties.
Andy Gose, head of media production at The Pokémon Company International, shared his thoughts on the project: “People around the world are always eager to experience the world of Pokémon in new and meaningful ways. We are excited to see the joy it will bring to Trainers and the passion and adventure that unites the community.”
